These decorative wall masks are a specialty of Millstone Pottery. Each mask tells their own story.
A potter and an educator, Ronda received her training and degree in Art education from Longwood University in rural Virginia and then continued on to educate children and young adults for over thirty years. As a retired art educator she is now on a path of creating functional and decorative clay objects.
Her inspiration comes from nature and being outdoors and she portrays this through the combination of glazed and bare clay.
Janice is a retired special education and art teacher. She is a University of Georgia graduate in Art education and received her Masters in Special Education in Learning Disabilities at Longwood College. Although Janice loves experimenting with a variety of mediums, her concentration is in clay. She takes inspiration from the outdoors and often incorporates natural ingredients in her pottery designs.
